Really pretty stone with a nice weight to it! I think the stone is even nicer looking in person. I'm not super "woo" so I don't know that the stone actually has healing powers or anything, but I do believe in physical items that help to focus particular thoughts and feelings by reminding us of those thoughts and feelings. Aventurine is supposed to create feelings of leadership, abundance, and power, so it reminds me to stand in my power, focus my confidence, and focus on creating abundance in my life and work. This is a great addition to my collection.
The wire wrap looks exactly like the picture, but somehow the picture looks more substantial than in-person. It does look like what the picture shows, so I can't really complain. I do appreciate that the wire isn't heavy, so it's really just the weight of the stone, which is perfect.
I was, however, pretty disappointed with the clasp and related hardware on the cord. It seems so... cheap and flimsy compared to the rest of the pendant. I'll probably switch it out for a cord that I have for another similar necklace. For that reason, I couldn't give it five stars.
Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase and I'm glad I purchased this necklace. I will enjoy it.
