These earrings really called to me. I used to live within 12 miles of the ocean, and these earrings really remind me of the air, the environment, and the peace there. My experience with this vendor was a little troubling - my last order apparently missed quality control (the vendor kindly offered a refund). I really didn't want to be disappointed when I was so vested in the product. But I just couldn't resist.
And I was not disappointed. My computer camera doesn't do the earrings justice. You can't see the beautiful blues, greens and greys in each of the two pieces of shell - the earrings are just lovely. There's sparkling gold trim and hooks, and the backs of the earring are solid white shell, straight cut. The two earrings are sized evenly, hang evenly, and look lovely with the colors under the shiny veneer of the shell, when worn.
I couldn't be more pleased. I also am so glad this product, sourced ethically, supports the abalone farming industry.
