I drink water all day and prefer to do so with a straw. I also use crystals in my daily life to help keep my world a little more balanced. So when I found out about these straws I thought they were worth a try. They are very pretty and function just like you'd expect. I've also been able to incorporate use of the straws in my spiritual life, using them for rituals and blessings with great success. I did find that a few gems were loose in the box upon arrival, and a few smaller ones have fallen out after the first few uses - which is the only reason this review isn't five stars. Please note that none of the gems were ever any safety issue, as they only fell out during cleaning. I will continue to use the straws for water and rituals, as there haven't been any issues since.
