These red garnet earrings (by Ayana) are very attractive and versatile. They aren’t an obvious red, but more of a darker stone (a very deep red, almost black) with speckles of color. The photos definitely do not do them justice. They are homemade but sturdy. The hardware (i.e., hooks) is gold with plastic backs. These earrings are not as heavy as they look, but they do have weight. They came in a really nice drawstring, jute bag, which is perfect for gift giving. 5 stars
