Using Orgonite to Control The Weather
WILHELM REICH AND THE ORGONE
Wilhelm Reich born in 1897, was an Austrian doctor of medicine as well as a psychoanalyst. He was a part of the second generation of psychoanalysts after Sigmund Freud and authored several books on psychoanalysis. Wilhelm Reich was a prominent and esteemed figure in this field. However, these works got overshadowed when he got involved in a new form of movement named as ‘orgonomy’, a pseudoscientific method conceived by him. Orgone is an important part of his theory of orgonomy. He became a controversial figure from the 1930s because of his strange theories and his violation of the key taboos of psychoanalysis. Thus, he moved to New York and soon came up with the theory of Orgone, which he claimed was a biological energy. He also added that Orgone energy was synonymous with God and the key source of this energy was present in a particle called bion.
He invented Orgone energy accumulator which looked like a wooden cupboard, lined with metal and insulated with steel wool. He claimed that this device would improve the psychological as well as physical health of the users.
THE THEORY OF ORGONE
Reich claimed that this device was able to trap the orgone energy that was present in the environment including the sun, sand, coal, and other such objects. According to him, this orgone energy was capable of treating cancer and other ailments caused by radiation if used in a concentrated form. The orgone accumulator’s metallic part absorbed the orgone and the lining acted like an insulator by stopping the orgone from escaping. This system was like the greenhouse effect and was thought to result in a rise in temperature inside the box. He did research which led him to treat people suffering from cancer with the orgone boxes.
ORGONE AND WEATHER CONTROL
Wilhelm Reich came up with another device which he christened cloudbuster. This device also worked on the principle of the orgone energy and Reich claimed that it was capable of producing rain by trapping the orgone energy present in the atmosphere.
The cloudbuster was made by arranging an array of hollow metal tubes in a parallel manner. These tubes were connected at the rear to a series of relatively smaller metal hoses. The rear of these were collected and joined together to a single large pipe and flexible metal hose. The open ends of these hoses were placed in water to absorb the orgone energy and the pipes were aimed into cloudy regions of the sky to draw energy to the ground like a lightning rod.
WORKING OF THE CLOUDBUSTER
This device was meant to change the climate. Reich claimed that the cloudbuster was even capable of driving away the moisture-laden clouds from an area receiving heavy rainfall to a drought-ridden region or the deserts. Thus, helping the humans to control the nature. Apart from that this device was believed to help in the formation of clouds as well. Reich conducted dozens of experiments with the cloudbuster and called this research Cosmic orgone engineering.
